Mission Statement
The St. James Council of Catholic Women as members of the National Council of Catholic Women, the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, and the Rockford Deanery of Catholic Women, acts through its membership to support, empower, and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service. All programs respond with gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.

UPDATES:On Friday, May 18, 2012, at 8:30 am, we will be hosting the Graduation Breakfast for the St. James School eighth grade class and their parents.If you are able to help with the preparations, we will be meeting the in parish kitchen on Thursday, May 17th.Thanks for all you do for our council and our parish. |
Our next meeting is June 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Center. We are having a "POTLUCK" dinner.Please bring your own table service, a dish to pass, and a friend. Hostesses are Kim Fisk, Ann Scherer, Rhonda Tracey & Marie Nickol See you there!
Our next bake & craft sale is Sunday, May 20, 2012 in conjunction with the Knights of Columbus breakfast. This is a big event for our Parish! We will be setting up on Saturday, May 19, from 2:00-4:00. You may drop off your donated baked goodies at that time.
Our next meeting is August 1, 2012. We do not meet in July. |
Meetings & Membership: Our meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the St. James Parish Center. All women of the parish age 18 and older are welcome.
