Mrs. Cadie has been a member of St. James Parish since 1961 when her family moved from the Rockford area to Boone County . Her ministries here at St. James have included: Eucharist Minister, Lector, Catholic Daughter, and a member of the Parish Council. She also served as a volunteer catechist in Religious Education Program from 1980 through June 2002. July 2002 she was hired as Coordinator of Religious Education. She is a Certified Level II Catechist, completed Rockford Diocese Ministry Formation Certification in 2003 and DRE Certification in 2004. She has also completed one year of study in Youth Ministry through the Archdiocese of Chicago at Loyola University .
