Earn Money for Your Child’s Religious Education
What is Scrip?
Scrip Gift Certificates earn money for Catholic Education. Retailers sell the Scrip at a discount to St. James. You purchase the Certificates at face value, earning much needed funds for our school. Scrip is used at stores just like money. Every purchase earns 2% to your family as tuition credit. Over a year, buy $1000 in scrip gift cards and earn $20 (paid in May at R.E. sign-up). Buy $5,000 and earn $100. There's no limit to the credits you can earn!There are three convenient ways to participate!
- Scrip Express! Send in an order (with payment) using the form above. The Scrip will be sent home with your child at the end of class. Please include a phone number if we have any order questions.
- Scrip Certificates are available for immediate purchase after each Sunday Mass or in the School office during the week. Simply write a check to Education Funding Committee or pay cash and receive your Scrip.
- Order Certificates from all participating vendors every other week. Orders placed by noon at the School on Scrip Monday will be ready on Friday.
